Homeless Veterans, in the United States – Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.
➡ The US National Coalition for Homeless Veterans estimates that on any given night, 200.000 veterans are homeless and 400.000 veterans will experience homeless during the course or a year.
➡ Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder – PTSD on the right picture – combined with a lack of social ties and a lack of family, are partly responsible for these homelessness situations.
➡ Through 2018, the European Observatory for non-discrimination and fundamental Rights will gather testimonies in the United States on how to help and support homeless persons, especially those who have carried out military tasks in the service of their country and suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.
