▶ Having experienced prostitution for 9 years, she has especially campaigned with the sex work Lobby before becoming an abolitionist. 

▶ Today, she fights for the voices of the survivors (700) and their true wishes for their future.

▶  This abolitionist Movement encourages the penalization of customers.

▶ Prostitution violates the right to human dignity and also threatens the right to life by reducing life expectancy and increasing exposure to violence that leads to murder.

▶️ Mickey MEJI a fondé en Afrique du sud le mouvement de femmes survivantes de la prostitution « KWANELE ».

▶️ Ayant connu la prostitution pendant 9 ans, elle a la particularité d’avoir milité avec le lobby du travail du sexe avant de devenir abolitionniste.

▶️ Aujourd’hui, elle se bat pour faire entendre la parole des survivantes (700) et leurs vrais souhaits pour leur avenir.

▶️ Ce mouvement abolitionniste encourage la pénalisation des clients.

▶️ La prostitution contrevient au droit à la dignité humaine et menace aussi le droit à la vie du fait qu’elle réduit l’espérance de vie, et accroît l’exposition à la violence qui va jusqu’au meurtre.
