The European Observatory for Non-Discrimination and Fundamental Rights (E.O.N.D.F.R.) publishes a practical guide for civil society organisations supporting asylum seekers, applicants for international protection and migrants across Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Based on the observation \u2014 rather than diagnosis \u2014 methodology developed by the European Union Agency for Asylum (EUAA)<\/a>, the guide presents the eleven categories of persons in vulnerable situations recognised under European Union law (Article 24 of Directive (EU) 2024\/1346<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For each category, the guide provides a definition, indicators that may be observed in the field, specific guidance on invisible or undisclosed vulnerabilities, and information on the professionals or services to whom the person concerned may be referred.<\/p>\n\n\n
