FRANCE, PARIS 🇫🇷<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

✅<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0\u201cSleep merchants\u201d:<\/strong> on March 10, 2021, the Correctional Court of Paris<\/strong> handed down prison sentences against two sleep merchants, one conditional sentence of imprisonment, and one sentence of 3 years’imprisonment,<\/strong>\u00a0 with immediate implementation, which is an extremely rare thing. <\/span><\/p>\n

The State Prosecutor had asked for the exceptional sentence up to four years’ imprisonment.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

✅<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0The building located at 62 Rue de Meaux, 75019 Paris, had been under a Decree regarding danger since 2012 and the accommodation was rented to vulnerable persons.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

✅\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>\u00a02 real Estate Companies are also not only prohibited from operating but also dissolved. <\/span><\/p>\n

A third company will have to pay a fine of \u20ac 500,000. <\/span><\/p>\n

The lots belonging to them in the building will be confiscated. <\/span><\/p>\n

Finally, damages were recognized against most of the inhabitants who had committed civil proceedings. <\/span><\/p>\n
