Objective :<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0To enco<\/strong>urage the integration of of Roma and Romanian persons, and their young children, living in extreme material and moral difficulties in FRANCE. T<\/span><\/strong>o provide for f<\/span>ree distribution\u00a0of meals and moral support. To\u00a0restore the human dignity of Roma and Romanian persons, with their young children. To promote\u00a0children’s rights and their right to education.<\/span><\/p>\n

Means and resources deployed :<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

July and August 2016\u00a0<\/strong>:<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>Our Association sent\u00a0out a Team of volunteers to organize\u00a0free distribution operations of meals\u00a0to Roma and Romanian persons, and their young children, living in extreme material and moral difficulties<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0in NANTES\u00a0(REZE,\u00a0FRANCE) and to give them a human and moral support. These operations took place with food gifts of Carrefour Market Nantes, our partner of this summer, and with private funds.<\/p>\n

European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights :<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0\u201cFor more than a thousand years, Roma people have been an integral part of European civilisation. Today, with an estimated population of 10-12 million in Europe, approximately\u00a0six million of whom live in the EU, Roma people are the biggest ethnic minority in Europe<\/strong>\u201c.<\/em>(http:\/\/fra.europa.eu\/en\/theme\/roma).<\/span><\/p>\n
