Free distribution operation of meals to Iraqi refugees, asylees in FRANCE, in the MIDI-PYRENEES region
Objective : To help Iraqi refugees, asylees in FRANCE, suffering from significant material and moral difficulty, by providing for free meals, as well as moral and human support.
Location of the action : Region of MIDI-PYRENEES, near TOULOUSE (31), FRANCE.
Means and resources deployed :
May 22-23-24 2015 : Sending a Team of volunteers of the European Observatory for Non-discrimination and Fundamental Rights to work on the spot.
Free distribution of meals and moral and human support to Iraqi refugees, such as asylees in FRANCE, persecuted by the Jihadists of the Islamic State in IRAQ.
Evaluation of food needs and of solutions for adequate housing on a short-term, middle-terme and long-term level.
The Team motto, written on blue T-shirts, is : « Whoever you are, we stand up with you ».
Field for intervention targeted by the European Agency for Fundamental Right :Asylum, migrations and borders. Integration of ethnic and national minorities.
