✅ Pioneer and dynamic, the City of NANTES will transform into a “giant vegetable garden” to give vegetables to families in need, following the COVID-19 epidemic.

✅ With Operation « Nourishing landscapes », 25,000 m2 of land will be cultivated. Vegetables will replace flowers and green spaces will become vegetable gardens. This new experience will be accessible in more than 50 sites in the City, on more than 2.5 hectares. 1000 families will each receive 25 kg of vegetables.

✅ Food will be harvested between July and October with the help of voluntary organizations and residents. Summer and fall vegetables will be available, such as tomatoes, zucchini, beets, corn, squash, sweet potatoes, green beans, cabbage and potatoes.

✅ The project of the City of Nantes is part of the social dynamics of « Solidarity Territories ».

✅ Pionnière et dynamique, la Ville de NANTES va se transformer en « potager géant » pour donner des légumes aux familles dans le besoin, à la suite de l’épidémie de COVID-19.

✅ Avec l’Opération « Paysages nourriciers », 25 000 m2 de terre vont être cultivés. Les légumes vont remplacer les fleurs et les espaces verts deviendront des potagers. Cette nouveauté sera accessible dans plus de 50 sites de la ville, sur plus de 2,5 hectares. 1000 foyers recevront chacun 25 kg de légumes

✅ La nourriture sera récoltée entre juillet et octobre avec l’aide d’associations et d’habitants volontaires. Des légumes d’été et d’automne seront disponibles, comme des tomates, courgettes, betteraves, maïs, courges, patates douces, haricots verts, choux et pommes de terre.

✅ Le projet de la Ville de Nantes s’inscrit dans la dynamique sociale des « Territoires Solidaires ».
