Judgment by the ECHR of 2nd July 2020 against FRANCE, for the » inhuman living conditions » of asylum seekers and for its lack of assistance to these asylum seekers.

FRANCE 🇫🇷.
✅ The European Court of Human Rights has ruled against FRANCE for the » inhuman living conditions » of asylum seekers and for its lack of assistance to these asylum seekers, forced to live “on the street” and « deprived of means of subsistence ».
✅ The European Court also observed that the three exiled men « lived on the street without financial resources », only receiving the temporary waiting allowance (ATA) after very long delays. Furthermore, « before being able to register their asylum application, they were subjected » to deadlines during which they were unable to prove their status as asylum seekers.
✅ For the Court, « this situation aroused in them feelings of fear, anxiety or inferiority, which could lead to despair ».
